Long Arm quilting :

I can quilt your quilt top at whatever level fits your desire and your wallet. Long arm  quilting is priced per square inch based on the size of the top. To figure out the number of inches in your top simply measure the height and width, multiply the height by the width (in inches) , and that will give you the number of square inches in your quilt. For example: a top that is 86 inches by 70 inches (86 X 70) would be 6,020 square inches.

Pricing is based on the difficulty and intensity of the quilting.

Level 1.           $0.02 per square inch . $0.25 /square inch with minky backing.

This level is edge to edge quilting, simple pantograph or simple meandering

Level 2.            $0.035 -$0.04 per square inch

Edge to edge quilting/ pantograph that is more complex or dense.

Level 3 . Center of quilt edge to edge and borders quilted separately. Center is $0.02/square inch. Each border is $30.00

Level 4 custom Quilting. This includes any quilting around appliqué, ditching, background fill, or quilting individual blocks throughout the quilt. This includes borders on custom quilts. Includes thread changes to match thread to blocks as needed . $0.06/square inch and up.

QUILT PREPARATION

The quilt top should be pressed and square. Backing should be pressed and square. Backing and batting should be 6 inches larger than the top (i.e. 3 inches per side and 3 inches top and bottom) If you prefer, I am happy to square up and press the backing for a charge: $20 to press and $20 to square up.

BATTING

You may provide the batting of your choice, or I can provide the batting. Charge is based on the linear inch measurements on the short side of the quilt. Except for larger quilts desiring wool.

80/20 at $0.28/ linear inch (for the above example 70 x $0.28=19.60)

80/20 bleached ( recommendated for very light/white quilts) $0.30/linear inch

80/20 black (great for very dark quilts) $0.30/ linear inch

100% cotton batting $0.28/linear inch

Bamboo batting $30/linear inch

Tuscany wool- I have the twin size for $30.00, or queen size for $50.00. For a smaller wall hanging I have wool at $0.40/linear inch

Poly batting $$0.22/ linear inch

Other Services:

Binding (please provide 1/2 to 1 yard of fabric of your choice for this) I will make the binding to your width specifications

Machine stitched to front/ hand stitched to back     $0. 40 per linear inch

Machine stitched to front, customer to complete hand stitching to back

$0.15 per linear inch.

Machine stitched to back and top stitched by machine to front

$0.25 per linear inch

Trimming quilt after quilting- to your specifications

Thread: I use Glide thread, and Wonderfil decobob or invisifil, and Superior micro quilter, but can use any thread you prefer

minimum charge : $50 ( even very small quilts require loading into the frame)

T-SHIRT QUILTS

I would be happy to turn your T-shirts into a usable memory!

Minimum charge of $100

Pricing is based on the setting you choose. Prices include good quilt shop quality cotton for sashing, cornerstones; stabilization and trimming of the shirts (please provide the whole shirt) ,backing, batting, and quilting with a basic overall meandering plus binding.

No sashing or cornerstone, all blocks one size     $20/shirt
